You're right Ms. Janet. It's really difficult to engage people on such initiative. In the first place, they are busy too in doing their stuffs. It requires a lot of effort to convince them to participate, and I commend you for doing a tremendous job. Next year po, I'm very much willing to help you (at least in promotion) if the project will still be pushed through (o kung meron mang iba pang projects). Good luck po..

Hi Joliber. There are a good number of folks like you who are helping out in spreading the word about this writing project. I'm very thankful for that.

Will keep you posted on other projects although I think I'll just stick having only one yearly. Cheers!

Great tips Janette, I had a few problems in the first few weeks when launching The Philippine Issues Writing Project for FilipinoVoices.com, but these strategies are also great to utilize.. Going around the blogosphere is something that I have yet to do, as well as emailing my contacts.

I have been using twitter as well, and I know that you have been too, since I subscribe to your twits..

An eyeball event is also a great idea.. Thank you again for the great tips..
